Coordinated Entry System

Coordinated Entry is a tool designed to ensure that homeless persons and persons at risk of homelessness are matched as quickly as possible with the intervention that will most efficiently and effectively ends their homelessness.  The El Paso COC has designed the Coordinated Entry (CE) system to coordinate and strengthen access to housing for families and individuals who are homeless or at risk of homelessness throughout El Paso County. The CE system institutes consistent and uniform assessment and referral processes to determine and secure the most appropriate response to each individual or family’s immediate and long-term housing needs.

El Paso Coalition for the Homeless is the operator of the El Paso CoC’s CE system and provides multiple strategically-located access points to assist those at risk of becoming homeless or experiencing homelessness.

Persons in need of housing receive a full assessment to determine need and priority and are matched and referred to appropriate programs and services.

The Coordinated Entry team is accessible at the below-listed access points.  Messages are returned within 24 hours.
